UFC 260 features an excellent main event which sees current champion Stipe Miocic looking to successfully defend his title against Francis Ngannou for the second time in a rematch this Saturday inside the UFC’s Apex Facility in Las Vegas.
Despite Miocic having already beat Ngannou a few years ago by using his wrestling in a decision victory over Ngannou, Miocic enters this fight the underdog once again and will most likely need to use his wrestling once more if he wants to leave this event the winner.
Miocic has his work cut out for him as I see Ngannou being much improved compared to their first meeting. He still carries that one-shot knockout power that can come at any point during the fight. Miocic can definitely win this fight but he has a lot of wear and tear on his body at an old age of 38-years old. Couple that with some grueling wars with Daniel Cormier and have already been knocked out before by a much smaller, less stronger heavyweight.
I believe this is Ngannou’s time and he will have his hand raised Saturday night. Ngannou is surging as a fighter and I think he is hitting his prime while Miocic could be on his way out. I’m not counting out the champion at all as he already holds a win over the challenger but I don’t think he will be able to avoid getting caught by a knockout shot from Ngannou.
You could take the moneyline on Ngannou but I don’t see him getting a decision nor a submission, so you could get a little bit better of a line on him with the TKO prop as that is his most likely path to victory. Best of luck!
Prop: Francis Ngannou by TKO (-105)
