Curtis Blaydes wins by Unanimous Decision (+425)
There is great value in this prop, honestly. Blaydes is the superior and more athletic fighter between the two and I think he will use his wrestling for the majority of this fight. He is a smart fighter in his own right too and he knows he has the significant advantage on the ground with Volkov not offering much threats off his back. Grappling and wrestling does expend much energy and with it being a five round main event Blaydes may take his time and just beat up Volkov to a one-sided decision. As long as Blaydes keeps his foot on the gas and uses his clinch work and wrestling he should have no problem winning a decision in the judges eyes. Of course a finish is possible here (most likely by TKO) but, it just depends what kind of approach Blaydes takes here. He is in a pivotal main event and with no other live sports he knows more viewers and more exposure; he may play this cautiously whilst putting the stamp on himself as the best heavyweight fighter who is not champion.
Raquel Pennington wins by Decision (-105)
This prop was as high as (+125) days ago but I think there is still a little value here. Pennington is the much better standup fighter and I don’t think Reneau will be able to take her down and if she does – will not be able to keep her down in my opinion. Pennington holds great wins over the likes of Miesha Tate and Jessica Andrade while also competing against Holly Holm and current women’s MMA greatest fighter: Amanda Nunes. Pennington is also the younger fighter by a whopping eleven years so not only is her technique in her favor but, youth and speed are too. A unanimous decision victory is not far fetched here for ‘Rocky’.
