Charles Oliveira vs Kevin Lee ends ‘Inside The Distance’
A fantastic main event headlines the UFC’s return to Brazil this weekend as the promotion’s submission record holder Charles Oliveira looks to add to his momentum as he takes on Kevin Lee. I find it very difficult seeing this fight hit the judges’ scorecards. Kevin Lee has a great wrestling pedigree and if he gets on top of you has devastating ground n’ pound along with slick submissions. His opponent, Charles Oliveira has one of the best submission games in all of MMA. Once he gets something locked in it is near impossible to successfully escape it. On top of his great ground skills he has an ever-improving striking department as he is only getting better with his hands and defense. I’m picking Charles Oliveira to win by submission, but it really is a tough fight to predict as both fighters are talented enough to pick up the win by finish in what should be a fight of the night candidate.
Johnny Walker Wins By TKO
Johnny Walker should be able to rebound here and continue his climb up the light heavyweight rankings in a pivotal matchup for him against Nikita Krylov. While Krylov does have some good striking and submissions, I think he will forever be held back by his chin and fight IQ issues. Walker’s speed, power, and distance control should assist him in picking up the TKO win over Krylov in the first or early second round in my opinion.
