MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas (@FightOdds) recently moved to Las Vegas and joined the UFC On the Line betting crew on UFC Fight Pass, which means he now has access to in-person fight wagers before upcoming mixed martial arts events.
As part of a new series here on MMAOddsBreaker.com, Kalikas will share his pre-event bets whenever he finds good value in a line, regardless of what side.
Here are Kalikas’ most recent wagers:

Romero is battling UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya in the main event of UFC 248 on March 7. Here’s Kalikas’ brief justification for his wager.
“I thought the line was priced too high when I hit +200 on Romero and there was too much value to leave on the table. The line then dropped to +180. Then the next day, the line moved up to +215. With Adesanya’s success and rapid rise to stardom, Westgate Superbook thinks he’s a public betting darling, which I can definitely understand, but I think by the time the odds for this fight close, the line could plummet due to more sharp action.”
Kalikas also placed a wager in the co-main event:

JÄ™drzejczyk is battling UFC Flyweight Champion Zhang Weili in the co-main event of UFC 248 on March 7. Here’s Kalikas’ brief justification for his wager.
“I can understand Zhang being a slight public favorite at this point because she’s on the rise, but this is going to be a very close fight and should be competitive. I think the fight will close much closer to pick ’em odds so I had to take the value there. I like the spot where I’m sitting with JJ at +140.”
Kalikas would like to thank the Westgate Superbook for their support of combat sports betting and for allowing him to record and post his pre-fight wagers. Kalikas recommends Westgate for all sports betting when visiting Las Vegas.
