Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Dustin Poirier

Outside of an early knockout or catching Khabib coming in, Dustin Poirier doesn’t really have a strong case for winning the title on Saturday. Poirier has the huge striking edge, but he won’t be able to use it off his back taking punches to the face from Khabib, one of the UFC’s best grapplers today. Poirier might be able to force a shot out of Khabib to hurt him coming in but that just seems really unlikely. Poirier is very durable and Khabib will take his time throughout the fight getting him on the ground and beating him up for the majority of twenty-five minutes. Picking up a relatively easy decision victory.

Prop: Khabib Nurmagomedov wins by decision (+155)

I’d rather wait for Khabib by unanimous decision as it will be an even better price.

Edson Barboza vs Paul Felder

A rematch of two veteran lightweights – I think this fight goes much the same way as it did four years ago. Barboza still has the edge in striking so expect him to mix in plentiful hard hitting, snapping leg kicks to torture Felder’s base. Barboza has great hands too and shouldn’t have to worry about dealing with takedowns here. As long as it stays on the feet Barboza should take the decision.

Prop: Edson Barboza wins by decision (+170)

Curtis Blaydes vs Shamil Abdurakhimov

Blaydes is a sizable favorite here as he should be in my opinion. He is better everywhere compared to Abdurakhimov. Blaydes will want to use his wrestle-heavy background and keep Abdurakhimov on his back as much as possible. A knockout is not out of the question for Abdurakhimov but Blaydes knows his best path to victory here and that should be by a wrestling controlled unanimous decision.

Prop: Curtis Blaydes by decision (+185)

Andrea Lee vs Joanne Calderwood

Not much to really say here – Andrea Lee is still steadily improving every fight while her opposition Joanne Calderwood is trending down. Andrea Lee should be able to outpace, out strike, and out grapple Calderwood in every phase of this fight for the course of this fifteen-minute bout.

Prop: Andrea Lee wins by decision (+110)
