Douglas Lima vs Michael Page
This will be a bit of a short write up. Page is good, but he hasn’t faced very many quality opponents. Dailey being his toughest fight to date, and it was an underwhelming performance from him. Lima will no doubt not be an easy fight for Page. Having beat plenty of tougher opponents compared to Page. Page may try to just circle around, keep his distance, and just outpoint Lima in hopes to securing a decision win but I don’t think he’ll even be able to do that. Lima is a very good fighter and I expect to see him mix in takedowns and really bring the fight to Page – exposing his weaknesses on the ground. I’m not very confident in a finish here especially on the feet from Lima as Page is still dangerous with counters and kicks in that area. So, I’ll be riding with Lima to just grind out a decision win to get his hand raised in the co-main event.
I wanted to get this prop out before the day of the event so as of right now the only prop for the fight is ‘Fight goes to decision’ at +155. Lima by decision should be a better number so I would wait to take that prop if it becomes available.
Prop: Fight goes to decision at +155 OR Douglas Lima wins by decision if available.
