MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with RFA 43 middleweight Adam Stroup as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event this Friday night (September 10, 2016) against Gabriel Checco at the 1stBank Center in Broomsfield, Colorado.
The Colorado-native is hoping to bounce back from a decision loss in his last fight and he feels he has his upcoming opponent well-scouted:
“[Gabriel Checco] will throw strikes. He’s kind of wild. He’s not really snappy. He looks like he has some power but more than anything I think he’s gonna feel like his advantage to fight me is on the ground. He’s gonna want to take me down. He’s a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and he’ll want to use those skills. I think he’s gonna come out swinging some bombs and he’s gonna try to take me down like they always do.”
