Both fighters struggle a bit on the feet, but are persistent in working for takedowns and excel in scrambles to find their opponents backs to work in submissions. Size and strength is roughly equal, so this is not a case of one fighter being able to big brother each other. Buschkamp has a bit more power in the striking so that will be advantage during any standup exchanges. Both fighters have the ability to get the fight to the ground and work submissions. Buschkamp is more athletic and is attempts are the quicker, calculated approaches. Enlund has a bit more experience, but overall I like Buschkamp’s athletic gifts more and give him a slight edge in this fight. My confidence in this fight is relatively low given their similar abilities, so this is a fight I’d pass on betting despite Buschkamp sitting at +130. UFC Ceiling Martin Buschkamp is an intriguing prospect in the UFC’s featherweight division. He’s athletic enough to compete already in the octagon and does an excellent job disguising his takedown attempts. He has a really strong submission which will make him a threat against much of the bottom tier UFC fighters. He has his moments on the feet, but he will need to continue to improve in that regard if he’s going to compete the upper half of the division.
