The powerful middleweight thinks he has a gameplan to counter Alvey’s heavy hands and will help to set up his stifling ground game:
“[Sam Alvey]’s big on blitzing and trying to get some things going, but a lot of his fights he’s very patient. He sits back and I think I’ll expose him in this fight. I’ll play him from the outside, use the range, use the kicks to frustrate him, open up some takedowns and put him on the ground. Once we get on the ground, he’s gonna feel a pressure he hasn’t felt before. I don’t care who he’s grappled, he hasn’t felt me on top.”
