Gabe’s Call: Caros Fodor by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Middleweight bout: Phil Hawes (-170) vs Louis “Put the Guns Down” Taylor (+150) Gabe’s Thoughts: Hawes is coming off a first round knockout of Joshua Keys just a month ago at WSOF 31 and makes an immediate return to action for this contest, where he will be taking a step or two up in competition by squaring off against veteran Louis Taylor. “Put the Guns Down” currently enjoys a five fight winning streak heading into his second WSOF appearance, including a first round knockout of Bellator veteran Joe Vedepo and a first round submission of UFC veteran Brian Houston. I think Hawes is the superior fighter of the two heading into this contest and am in full agreement with the current betting odds, so I see no value in him to make me want to pull the trigger on a wager.
