In one line, I will be providing my own personal description for every fight ahead of us at tonight’s UFC on FOX 20. I will also be following the Twitter rule of thumb of keeping them in 140 characters or less. If interested in wagering on this fight card, all lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. And without further ado, here are my one-liners for UFC on Fox 20 in Chicago… MAIN CARD (FOX) Holly Holm vs Valentina Shevchenko Holm looks to get past Shevchenko to get a shot at reclaiming her belt against current champ Amanda Nunes, but it will be no easy task. Gilbert Melendez vs Edson Barboza In this barn-burner, Melendez returns to action following a long layoff to take on arguably the best striker in the division in Barboza. Francis Ngannou vs Bojan Mihajlovic A heavyweight showdown that is all but guaranteed to end in brutal knockout; do not blink. Felice Herrig vs Kailin Curran This bout has ‘Fight of the Night’ potential and is a big fight for both women, as they need a victory to sustain relevancy in the division. PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX SPORTS 1) Eddie Wineland vs Frankie Saenz Saenz recently broke onto the scene and into the UFC bantamweight rankings but Wineland looks to take it all away by turning back the clock. Darren Elkins vs Godofredo Pepey This featherweight chess match pairs a wrestler and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace who have both displayed knockout power. Kamaru Usman vs Alexander Yakovlev This welterweight match-up will either be very boring or very entertaining, depending on which fighter is having his way. Michel Prazeres vs J.C. Cottrell Prazeres welcomes Cottrell to the UFC and looks to defeat him in impression fashion, but the promotional newcomer has other plans. PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC FIGHT PASS) Alex Oliveira vs James Moontasri Lightweights turned welterweights square off in what could be a sleeper for the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus. Jim Alers vs Jason Knight Two Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners look to save their spots on the UFC’s featherweight roster with a victory. Luis Henrique vs Dmitry Smolyakov These big boys will go to battle to kick off the card and this heavyweight scrap is expected to get the show rolling on a high note.
