This Saturday, while the MMA world is fixated on San Jose for the UFC on FOX 7 card, the kickboxing world will have their gaze across the Atlantic, as GLORY 7 takes place in Milan, Italy. The card is headlined by the pride of Italian combat sports, top ranked 70kg (154lb) fighter Giorgio Petrosyan, who takes on Hafid El Boustati. The card also features one of the best Heavyweights in the world, Rico Verhoeven as he goes up against Jhonata Diniz, who is best known for stepping in to the GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix on short notice to face Daniel Ghita on New Years’ Eve. Middleweight Artem Levin is also thought of as one of the top fighters at 85kg, and will take on Sahak Parparyan. Perhaps the most intriguing bout of all on the card is the showdown between Lightweight standouts Murthel Groenhart and Robin van Roosmalen considered by many the 2nd and 3rd best at their weight in the world.
