Here’s five UFC 200 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakerss. 1) Amanda Nunes by Submission (+1100) Amanda Nunes hurt Miesha Tate on the feet and submitted her on the mat with a first round rear naked choke, becoming the new UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Tate never had a chance to get going, as the fight was all Amanda Nunes. She made history by becoming the hird UFC women’s 135-pound champ, the first female Brazilian champ and the first openly gay UFC champ in the promotion’s history. Big congratulations are due for those who wagered on her to end Tate’s short time as champ with a submission, as the prop cashed in at a whopping +1100. 2) Brock Lesnar by Decision (+775) He’s back! Brock Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards following three rounds of action. It was animpressive way for Lesnar to return to action following a five year layoff. Fight fans were excited to see him back inside the Octagon and we are curious to see what the future holds in store for him. Those who gambled on Lesnar to take this fight on the scorecards cashed in big at +775, so congrats, and the betting result will stand despite Lesnar’s flagged USADA sample. 3) Sage Northcutt by Decision (+385) Sage Northcutt defeated Enrique Marin via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards following three closely contested rounds of action. This was arguably the most entertaining fight of the evening and maybe have been the front runner for UFC 200’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors but the promotion ultimately opted to hand out four performance bonuses instead. Northcutt was in serious trouble in this fight but survived to end up winning on the cards. People who gave him crap for tapping early against Bryan Barbarena have nothing to say anymore, as he survived some bad positions in Marin’s submission attempts. Those who backed “Super” Sage to take this fight on the judges’ scorecards cashed in at +385, so congratulations to ya. 4) Joe Lauzon by T/KO (+805) Joe Lauzon defeated Diego Sanchez via first round TKO in what was, in my opinion, the biggest shocker of the three card weekend. Lauzon is not known to be a knockout artist and Sanchez is known to have arguably the best chin in the sport, so seeing Lauzon put him away with his hands was truly surpsiing; I personally could not get it out of my hear the entire night. I thought he might win a decision or by submission, or maybe a TKO via cut; but no way did I expect him to really hurt Sanchez and literally force the referee to step in to call the action. I think that this was his best performance and win since his UFC debut 10 years ago, where he knocked out Jens Pulver in 0:48 seconds. If you bet on “J-Lau” to put “The Nightmare” to sleep with strikes, then I put you’re patting yourself on the back because your ticket cashed in at a very cool +805. 5) Jim Miller by T/KO (+660) Jim Miller defeated Takanori Gomi via first round TKO to kick off the UFC 200 fight card. He did what he was supposed to do and impressively made his way back into the UFC’s win column at 155-pounds. Those who wagered on him to put “The Fireball Kid” away via T/KO took home a very nice cash prize of +660, so congratulations are in order! A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $3,502,521.
