If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for these fight cards, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Bantamweight bout: Pedro Munhoz (-245) vs Russell Doane (+205) Gabe’s Thoughts: I am a Russell Doane fan but I think he is outgunned heading into this contest. I think Munhoz will keep the fight on the feet, where he will dictate Octagon control and batter Doane with devestating leg kicks and vicious combinations. The Hawaiian is tough so he will likely survive to see the final bell, but I see Munhoz taking all three rounds on the judges’ scorecards for a unanimous decision victory. I was big on Jimmie Rivera against Munhoz in his latest bout and was right about that one; here, I think he succesfully returns to the win column and makes his way back towards the Top 15. I think Munhoz should be a 3-to-1 betting favorite heading into this contest, so I think he holds some value at his current betting line of -245. Gabe’s Call: Munhoz by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Middleweight bout: Anthony Smith (-145) vs Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira (+125) Gabe’s Thoughts: Ferreira’s chin remains a big concern; he was hurt in the first round of his last fight but managed to survive and outwrestle his way to win the second and third rounds for a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. He has recently suffered knockout losses at the hands of Jorge Masvidal, Sam Alvey and CB Dolloway. I think Smith adds his name to that list in this match-up, and I could see him either doing it on the feet or on the mat with his ground and pound attack. Ferreira is an excellent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and has a great submission game, but I think Smith will be able to take him down, defend any possible submission attempts, stifle him and do damage with his ground and pound. I think Ferreira got lucky in his last fight and I think he needs luck on his side again to win this one. Smith is red-hot right now and I think he continues to roll with animpressive veteran over the TUF: Brazil Season 1 winner. Gabe’s Call: Smith by T/KO (punches, 2:25 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Munhoz (-245) and Smith (-145) at +137 for 2.9u to win 4u
