UFC 200 Date: July 9, 2016 Arena: T-Mobile Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be in the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday July 9th, 2016 with UFC 200, the most stacked card in the promotion’s history with 12 exciting bouts, including three title fights and the return of Brock Lesnar. The main card will be kicking off at 10pm ET on Pay Per View, with preliminary action preceding it on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm ET and UFC Fight Pass at 6:30pm ET. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. My Fights to AVOID betting are: Women’s Bantamweight bout: Cat Zingano (-170) vs Julianna Pena (+150) Gabe’s Thoughts: I am conflicted on this fight, as far as my official pick is concerned. I do believe that it is a close fight. At the moment, I slightly lean towards the former title challenger Zingano, but as for a bet, I would have to say that this is a “dog or pass” situation. That said, I don’t personally think the dog carries enough value at her current offering price of +150 to make her worth a squeeze on the trigger. If she climbs to +200, I think Pena will be worth a play, but at the current odds, I think this is a match-up best left avoiding. Gabe’s Call: Zingano by Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Lightweight bout: Jim Miller (-240) vs Takanori Gomi (+200) Gabe’s Thoughts: This seems like a match-up tailor made for Miller to win in impressive fashion and get back in the win column. However, I am not confident things will play out that way. I think Gomi may prove to be a tougher out and may even stop Miller with strikes. While I do think Miller winning in the first round (by either submission or T/KO,but most likely submission), I am not at all confident in him. He has been on a decline, and if “The Fireball Kid” shows up, I could see Miller getting hurt and finished. I don’t think either fighter is worth a bet at the current odds, so this will be a fight I avoid at the sportsbooks come Saturday, July 9th. I think this is a scrap that is worth sitting back and enjoying without having action on the line. Gabe’s Call: Miller by Submission (kneebar, 0:56 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
