With UFC Fight Night 88 and UFC 199 taking place the past two weekends, the MMAOddsBreaker rankings were bound to get shaken up. MMAOddsbreaker’s Brian Hemminger (@BrianHemminger) has taken over the reigns of the rankings, which are updated after nearly every UFC event. As always, we only show changes in the rankings with this update. To access the full MMAOddsBreaker rankings, click here. Pound-for-Pound 1. Demetrious Johnson 2. Jon Jones 3. Dominick Cruz 4. Frankie Edgar 5. Rafael dos Anjos 6. TJ Dillashaw (+1) 7. Robbie Lawler (+1) 8. Daniel Cormier (+1) 9. Khabib Nurmagomedov (+1) 10. Conor McGregor (+1) 11. Stipe Miocic (+1) 12. Chris Weidman (+1) 13. Jose Aldo (+1) 14. Joanna Jedrzedczyk (+1) 15. Luke Rockhold (-9) Luke Rockhold’s title reign lasted just six months and his belt wasn’t successfully defended so the AKA product takes a huge drop in the pound rankings. Middleweight 1. Chris Weidman (+1) 2. Luke Rockhold (-1) 3. Yoel Romero 4. Jacare Souza 5. Michael Bisping (+3) 6. Gegard Mousasi (-1) 7. Vitor Belfort (-1) 8. Lyoto Machida (-1) 9. Anderson Silva 10. Derek Brunson 11. Robert Whittaker 12. Tim Kennedy 13. Thales Leites 14. Thiago Santos 15. Rafael Natal The biggest jump was Michael Bisping, who leaps up three spots for knocking out Luke Rockhold. He doesn’t have the track record of domination against top opposition, however, so I was hesitant to immediately put him #1. He’ll have to prove himself to keep climbing in the rankings. Welterweight 1. Robbie Lawler 2. Rory MacDonald 3. Stephen Thompson 4. Tyron Woodley 5. Demian Maia 6. Johny Hendricks 7. Carlos Condit 8. Ben Askren 9. Neil Magny 10. Andrei Koreshkov (+2) 11. Matt Brown (+2) 12. Dong Hyun Kim (+2) 13. Kelvin Gastelum (NR) 14. Gunnar Nelson (+1) 15. Ryan LaFlare (NR) The welterweight division experienced some serious upheaval as Hector Lombard moved up to 185 pounds and promptly lost to Dan Henderson. Rousimar Palhares also drops out after he was shockingly knocked out by an unranked fighter at Valor Fights in Europe a few weeks ago. Lightweight 1. Khabib Nurmagomedov 2. Rafael dos Anjos 3. Eddie Alvarez 4. Tony Ferguson 5. Nate Diaz 6. Donald Cerrone 7. Will Brooks 8. Edson Barboza 9. Anthony Pettis 10. Dustin Poirier (+3) 11. Gilbert Melendez (-1) 12. Adriano Martins (-1) 13. Rashid Magomedov (-1) 14. Justin Gaethje 15. Mairbek Taisumov Dustin Poirier looked tremendous in his fight against Bobby Green, destroying the veteran via first round knockout and showcasing a downright vicious left hand in stand-up exchanges. Poirier deserves a top ranked opponent next time out. Bantamweight 1. Dominick Cruz 2. TJ Dillashaw 3. Marlon Moraes (+2) 4. Raphael Assuncao (+3) 5. Urijah Faber (+1) 6. Michael McDonald (+3) 7. Bryan Caraway (NR) 8. Aljamain Sterling (-4) 9. Bibiano Fernandes (+1) 10. Cody Garbrandt (NR) 11. Thomas Almeida (-1) 12. Takeya Mizugaki (-1) 13. Jimmie Rivera (-1) 14. Marcos Galvao (-1) 15. Darrion Caldwell The bantamweight rankings were turned on their head with Renan Barao leaving the division and top undefeated prospects Aljamain Sterling and Thomas Almeida getting beaten on Memorial Day Weekend. The biggest beneficiaries were Cody Garbrandt and Bryan Caraway, who debut in the top 10 after their major upset victories. If Urijah Faber retires, things could get even messier. Women’s Strawweight 1. Joanna Jedrzejczyk 2. Claudia Gadelha 3. Rose Namajunas 4. Carla Esparza 5. Tecia Torres 6. Karolina Kowalkiewicz 7. Jessica Aguilar 8. Valerie Letourneau 9. Marina Moroz 10. Jessica Andrade (NR) 11. Randa Markos 12. Joanne Calderwood 13. Alexa Grasso 14. Angela Hill 15. Livia Souza Jessica Andrade dropped down to 115 pounds and completely dominated former title challenger Jessica Penne. She looked so good and Penne looked so bad that I decided to simply have Andrade take Penne’s spot in the rankings and to remove Penne completely.
