MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 88 lightweight Abel Trujillo as he prepares for his preliminary card bout tonight (Sunday, May 29, 2016) against Jordan Rinaldi at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The member of the Blackzilians is frustrated about having a late opponent change, but he’s not going to overlook his UFC-debuting opponent one bit:
“Depending on if [Jordan Rinaldi] has Octagon jitters or not, which I didn’t have in my debut, I think this is a big opportunity for him. You only get one debut and I remember the mentality I had in my debut and I think he’s gonna come in there the same, trying to take something from me. Thinking about the fight, I think I’ll finish him in the first or second round but I can’t overlook this guy. I’m still looking at this like a world title fight. I’m going in there to hurt him bad.”
