  Joseph Duffy vs. Mitch Clarke set for UFC Vegas  The UFC announced this morning that lightweights Joseph Duffy and Mitch Clarke will clash at UFC Fight Night Vegas on July 7th Duffy (14-2)  heads into this matchup off a unanimous decision loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 195, his first defeat since October 2011. Prior to that the Irishman was on a four-fight win streak, including back-to-back victories in the UFC.  The 28-year old Tristar product is perhaps best known for handing Conor McGregor the first loss of his career, when he submitted him in  2010. Clarke (11-3) hasn’t fought since an April 2015 decision loss to Michael Chiesa. The Canadian has been on the sidelines due to a bizarre injury involving acupuncture therapy and a needle breaking. He’s 2-3 in the UFC, including a submission victory over Al Iaquinta. UFC Fight Night: Vegas takes place on July 7 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.   UFC Fight Night 88 lineup finalized  The UFC announced Wednesday that the lineup is set for next month’s UFC Fight Night 88 event is all set. In the main event Thomas Almeida (20-0) takes on Cody Garbrandt (8-0), while the co-headliner features former champ Renan Barao (33-3) against featherweight Jeremy Stephens (24-12). UFC Fight Night 88 takes place May 29 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. He posted this on the company official website at WSOF.com “We’re still working out the details, but right now, I’m leaning toward going with Ozzy Dugulubgov for that shot,” Sefo wrote. “Ozzy debuted with us back in 2013, on just our second event. He’s gone 5-1 in his six World Series of Fighting appearances, and that one loss came via split decision. I think he’s proven himself as a true contender, and this will be his opportunity to show the world that he’s capable of competing at an elite level.” Gaethje (16-0) has gone 9-0 since he made his WSOF debut in 2013. He’s coming off an impressive win via leg kicks agains Brian Foster. Dugulubgov (8-2) has gone 5-1 under the WSOF banner including a decision victory over Nic Herron-Webb in his last bout.
