Six main card bouts will be televised live for UFC on FUEL TV 3 starting at 8 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday. However, there are also six preliminary fights that will be streamed live on Facebook.com from the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia, beginning at 5 p.m. The main card is headlined by Chan Sung Jung (12-3) and Dustin Poirier (12-1), who will square off in a featherweight title eliminator bout. The winner is expected to meet the winner between champion Jose Aldo and challenger Erik Koch after they fight at UFC 149 on July 21. The main card also includes Tom Lawlor (7-4, 1 No-Contest) vs. Jason MacDonald (26-15) at middleweight, Fabio Maldonado (18-4) vs. Igor Pokrajac (24-8) at light heavyweight, Jeff Hougland (10-4) vs. Yves Jabouin (17-7) at bantamweight, Jeremy Stephens (20-7) vs. Donald Cerrone (17-4, 1 NC) at lightweight and Jorge Lopez (11-2) vs. Amir Sadollah (5-3) at welterweight. MMA bettors can get the latest UFC odds on each of these bouts by clicking here. In the prelims, there will be two bantamweight matchups (Alex Soto vs. Francisco Rivera and Jeff Curran vs. Johnny Eduardo), two at lightweight (Rafael dos Anjos vs. Kamal Shalorus and TJ Grant vs. Carlo Prater), one at middleweight (Brad Tavares vs. Dongi Yang) and one at lightweight (Cody McKenzie vs. Marcus LeVesseur). Tavares (6-2) and McKenzie (12-2) are both former contestants on The Ultimate Fighter and opened as -210 favorites (bet $210 to win $100) according to the MMA odds while their opponents Yang (10-2) and LeVesseur (21-5), respectively, are each +160 underdogs (bet $100 to win $160). Grant (17-5) is the biggest betting favorite on the UFC on FUEL TV 3 card overall at -400 while his opponent Prater (30-10-1) is the largest underdog at +300. Grant has split his last six bouts in the UFC and made his lightweight debut with an armbar submission victory against Shane Roller at UFC Live: Cruz vs. Johnson last October 1. The 28-year-old Canadian had previously competed at welterweight like Prater, who has won five bouts in a row, but just one of those came in the UFC. Prater’s biggest career win came against Carlos Condit at Fightworld 2 on September 11, 2004. The 30-year-old Brazilian later lost a rematch with Condit, who currently holds the UFC’s interim welterweight title. The other three preliminary bouts have moderate favorites in Rivera (5-2) and Curran (35-14-1), both opening at -170, and dos Anjos (15-6) at -215. Eduardo (25-9) and Soto (6-1-1) each opened at +140 with Shalorus (7-2-2) a +165 dog.
