MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 53 welterweight David Vitkay as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event this Friday night (April 8, 2016) against Cody Wilson at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.
The longtime veteran has experienced a major career resurgence as of late and he’s hoping to steal some of the shine from a top prospect like Cody Wilson come Friday night:
“I just want to take it as far as I can. I have a couple of years left. Cody Wilson is on a nine fight win streak. His manager is Monte Cox. His next step is either Bellator or the UFC. I’m gonna beat the shit out of him and wait to hear from them. I don’t know what I gotta do to get their attention, I guess my record is messed up from before. Cody is a tough guy. He’s got great stand-up but I don’t think he’s fought anyone like me. I think I’m gonna be more than he can handle, especially in the second and third round.”
