Five Crazy Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here’s five crazy UFC Fight Night 82 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakerss. 1) Michael Bisping by Unanimous Decision +550 Michael Bisping went to war with Anderson Silva for five rounds and came out on top with a somewhat controversial unanimous decision victory in front of his fellow British crowd. It was arguably the best performance of the Brit’s career, as he was able to get the better of “The Spider” for three out of five rounds on the judges’ scorecards, unanimously, taking home his third straight victory inside the Octagon. It was a very impressive outing by “The Count” and he hopes for a shot at the 185-pound title his next time out. Conratulations are in order for those who were confident enough in Bisping taking this fight unanimously on the judges’ scorecards, as it cashed in at a cool +550. 2) Tom Breese by Decision +493 Tom Breese took a controversial unamious decision win over veteran Keita Nakamura; it is mostly controversial because two judges’ had it 30-27 for Breese, while many spectators felt it was a 29-28 score for Breese and arguably 29-28 for Nakamura. I personally had it 29-28 for Breese, so I think the right fighter ultimately got his hand raised. It was a back and forth battle that saw both fighters have their moments, but it was the Brit who came out on top, and those who bet the -1165 bettinng favorite to win via decision cashed a nice +493 ticket, so congratulations to you. 3) Makwan Amirkhani by Decision +328 Makwan Amirkhani faced the stiffest test of his Octagon career in Mike Wilkinson and passed it with flying colors at yesterday’s UFC Fight Night 84 in London, dominating the Brit with his superior grappling for a unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards. He did not get the finish, but it was still a solid outing for the Finnish fighter. That said, he does still need to improve his cardio, as fatigue allowed Wilkinson to get the better of him in the third and final frame of action. His previous two Octagon outings resulted in first round finishes and this was the first time his gas tank was put to test under the big bright lights. Those who wagered on Amirkhani taking this one on the judges’ scorecards saw their tickets cash at a solid +328, so congrats are in order there. 4) Daniel Omielanczuk by Decision +359 Poland’s Daniel Omielanczuk took a hard fought technical majority decision victory over promotional newcomer Jarjis Danho on the preliminary card of yesterday’s UFC Fight Night 84 in London. It was a lackluster affair for the most part, but the Pole did what he needed to do to get his hand raised and save his job following a two fight skid. Props to those who took this heavyweight to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards, as it cashed in at +359. 5) Teemu Packelan by Submission +510 Teemu Packalen earned his first UFC win and saved himself from the chopping block with a first round rear naked choke submission of promotional newcomer Thibault Gouti. Packalen hurt the Italian striker on the feet, dropping him, and then seized the moment by taking in his back and sinking in the choke to earn the quick tap and victory. It was an impressive performance by Packalen, and those who gambled on him securing a submission cashed a sweet +510 ticket. A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $461,806.
