If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Middleweight bout: Derek Brunson (-370) vs Roan Carneiro (+310) Gabe’s Thoughts: Carneiro has the edge in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but I believe Brunson is the superior all-around mixed martial artist heading into this 185-pound contest. He will have advantages in striking and size against Carneiro, and I think he will pressure the Brazilian on the feet and hurt him with strikes. I could see Brunson employing his wrestling, too, but I think he keeps this fight standing, where I could see him eventually finding a fight-ending finish. I think Brunson has Top-5 potential and believe Carneiro belongs in the UFC’s 170-pound division. I expect Brunson to defeat him impressively and send him back down to welterweight. Gabe’s Call: Brunson by T/KO (strikes, 3:43 round 1) Featherweight bout: Dennis Bermudez (-325) vs Tatsuya Kawajiri (+265) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I think this is going to be a one-sided fight that favors Bermudez. I could see him getting a finish, but I think he is more likely to pick up a unanimous decision after three rounds of action. Their grappling will cancel each other out and I believe Bermudez is the superior striker. I see him getting the better of the Japanese veteran ont he feet, but I could also see him finding some success with his wrestling. This is his fight to lose and I see Bermudez making his way back into the win column by taking out the veteran Kawajiri. Gabe’s Call: Bermudez by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Brunson (-370) and Bermudez (-325) at -152 for 4.25u to win 2.8u
