Instead he’s being replaced by Khabib Nurmagomedov on a later event. Nurmagomedov (22-0) fought since a unanimous decision victory over current UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC on Fox 11 in April 2014. The win pushed the AKA product to a perfect 6-0 in the octagon. Ferguson (20-3) has won seven straight fights including a submission victory over Edson Barboza back at the TUF 22 Finale in December. Also on the event, Maurcio “Shogun” Rua and Rashad Evans are set to clash according to a report from Combate. These two were initially supposed to meet at UFC 128 in 2011, however Evans suffered a knee injury and was replaced by Jon Jones who ended up taking the UFC light heavyweight tile from Rua. Rua (23-10) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Antônio Rogério Nogueira at UFC 190, which snapped his two-fight losing streak. Evans (19-4-1) returned to action for the first time since 2013 and suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Ryan Bader at UFC 192. Also in the Combate report it’s speculated that the event will take place in Tampa, Florida. The UFC hasn’t held an event there since 2009. UFC Fight Night 84 adds Chad Laprise vs. Alan Patrick UFC officials confirmed Tuesday that a lightweight bout between Chad Laprise and Alan Patrick will take place in Australia at UFC Fight Night 84. Laprise (10-1) is coming off the first loss of his career in a TKO defeat to Francisco Trinaldo at UFC Fight Night 74 last August in Saskatchewan. Prior to that, the TUF Nations winner boasted an undefeated recording including wins over Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Yosdenis Cedeno and Bryan Barberena in the UFC. Patrick (12-1) is also coming off the first loss of his career when he suffered a head-kick knockout to Maribek Taisumov at UFC Fight Night 69 last June. Guimaraes (9-1-1) is coming off a decision victory over Andy Enz in his middleweight debut. The 32-year old moved up to middleweight after going 1-1 at welterweight defeating Dan Stittgen and losing to Hyun Gyu Lim. The heavyweight prospect announced the news last night on his Facebook account. 
Milstead (7-1) was featured on MMAOddsBreaker last year on our “Prospect Spotlight”, the Pittsburgh native has won seven straight fights by stoppage. He trains at recently retired Mark Cheirico’s MMA & Fitness but has also worked with current UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic and former UFC fighter Dan Spohn. No opponent or debut date has been mentioned, but the contract is for a four-fight deal.
