UFC Fight Night 82 adds Dennis Bermudez vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri, Ashlee Evans-Smith vs. Marion Reneau UFC officials recently announced that a featherweight matchup has been added to next month’s card in Pittsburgh as as Dennis Bermudez meets Tatsuya Kawajiri Bermudez (14-5) went on a six-fight winning streak before losing back to back fights against Ricardo Lamas and most recently Jeremy Stephens. Kawajiri (35-8-2) has won three of his last four fights and has gone 8-1 in his last nine bouts. Also added to the event was a female bantamweight encounter pitting Ashlee Evans-Smith against Marion Reneau. Evans-Smith (3-1) endured the first loss of her career with a first round submission loss Raquel Pennington. Reneau (6-2) is also coming off a loss, suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Holly Holm at UFC Fight Night 71. UFC Fight Night 82 takes place Feb. 21 at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. According to the report, the UFC has a replacement lined up for Sundays’ card which should be announced shortly. Watch that interview here Abdul-Kerim Edilov, Mairbek Taisumov also off UFC Boston card BloodyElbow.com’s Karim Zidan broke the news Sunday morning that heavyweight Abdul-Kerim Edilov (who was scheduled to face Francimar Barroso) has pulled out of the event due to injury.

Zidan also revealed the Maribek Taisumov (who was slated to take on Chris Wade during the event) has been removed from the card due to visa issues. Mehdi Baghdad (11-3) has been tabbed as his replacement.
