UFC 195 Date: January 2, 2016 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) is back in Las Vegas yet again tonight (January 2nd) to kick off the 2016 calendar year with UFC 195: Lawler vs Condit. The stacked 12-fight card is set to kick off with Fight Pass prelims at 6:30pm ET and televised prelims to follow on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm ET. If interested in wagering on these ‘FOTN’ props or any other plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: Lawler/Condit + 130 || 2u to win 2.6u I rarely like betting under +300 for a ‘Fight of the Night’ prop, much less under +200, and in this case, under +150. It was +145 when I began writing this article, but quickly dipped to +130. The reason I think the play holds value even at the low offering price of +130 is because I think it holds a much greater chance of taking home the bonus than any other fight on the card, top to bottom. I know Lawler will be showing up to fight. If Condit does the same, then the two will without a doubt put on a show, and as long as it doesn’t end quick, I don’t see how they don’t earn the bonus. Unless Kyle Noke and Alex Morono unexpectedly deliver the Fight of the Year for 2016, I think Lawler and Condit walk away with an extra cool 50k later this evening. Poirier/Duffy +600 || .75u to win 4.5u I think this play is definitely worth a shot at +600. It was once a main event and is now the featured bout on the FIght Pass prelims. I could see this fight playing out several different ways, one of which is a back and forth war; until somebody gets knocked out or possibly for all three rounds. If it plays out that way, I think this Poirier and Duffy would stand a good chance of taking home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus. Next to the main event, I think this fight stands the best chance of taking home the evening’s honors. If the main event fails to deliver for whatever reason, be it an early finish or if Condit uses the same game-plan he did against Diaz, then I think this fight takes it. Should these 155-pounders take home the honors, it would mean the third time for Poirier, while being the first for Duffy.
