MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Chael Sonnen about a variety of topics including tonight’s (December 12, 2015) main event between UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and interim champ Conor McGregor.
The former three-time UFC title challenger has a unique perspective on pre-fight trash talk and he has an interesting take on what he’s been hearing from McGregor in the build to tonight’s title fight:
“Conor McGregor is already putting down interviews feathering his fall about how the secret to success is failure and ‘champions must lose’ and ‘it’s how you come back from defeat’ and ‘I’m thinking about going to 155.’ I can tell ya the way Conor is putting down these interviews, he’s very scared of this fight and I’ve never seen it where both guys are. Skill-wise, I think Aldo is greatly superior but I also thought Chad Mendes was and Conor went out and got his hand raised there.”
