If interested in wagering on these ‘FOTN’ props or any other plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: Martinez/Vaculik +1500 || .5u to win 7.5u This is a match-up between two flyweights who are in the lower tier of the division and in dire need of a win. Martinez is 0-3 in the UFC and has his back against the wall heading into this one, knowing another loss with certainly earn him a pink slip from the promotion. Vaculik has less to lose, but he wants to avoid falling to a two fight skid and ultimately being 1-3 in the UFC. With a lot on the line, I expect both of these 125-pounders to leave it all inside the Octagon when they go toe to toe this evening. At +1500, I think this is definitely worth a stab, as I could definitely see these flyweights producing fireworks in Melbourne tonight. Should they take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, it would mean the second time for Martinez, while being the first for Australia’s own Vaculik. Martinez earned his first in a three round war against Scott Jorgensen, where he lost by unanimous decision. Nguyen/Benoit +950 || 1u to win 9.5u This flyweights will kick off the evening’s preliminary card on UFC Fight Pass and I believe they will get the show started on a high note. Regardless of how long it lasts, I think this will be an entertaining scrap. Both fighters are coming off wins and hoping to go 2-0 in the UFC’s 125-pound division, while putting on an impressive performance. They are both finishers and will be looking to finish the fight, which is generally a recipe for fireworks. I expect this fight to be a real barn burner, and being a fan of both competitors, I am very much looking forward to this one. At it’s current offering price of +950, I believe there is a lot of value in this play. Should these flyweights take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, it would mean the first time for Nguyen, but the second for Benoit, who earned his first in his promotional debut against Josh Sampo, where he lost by second round rear naked choke submission.
