Here’s five crazy UFC Fight Night 76 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers. 1) Darren Till vs Nicolas Dalby is declared a draw +15000 This was one of the better fights of the year, as there were constant swings of momentum and both fighters were on the verge of getting finished on several occasions. It appeared to be Till’s fight to lose, as he battered and almost finished Dalby in the first round. He likely would have done so but Dalby was saved by the bell. Till also won the second round but started to tire toward the end of the frame. The third round was all Dalby, as he had a wobbly Till on the ropes several times. However, Till managed to tough it out until the end of the fight. A 10-8 third round for Dalby ultimately resulted in this fight being scored a majority draw (29-28 Till, 28-28, 28-28) which was quite fitting. Till and Dalby both earned a $50,000 bonus for putting on the “Fight of the Night”. 2) Garreth McLellan wins by technical knockout +900 McLellan, an unheralded fighter from South Africa was a decent sized underdog heading into his fight against Bubba Bush. Bush won the first round but gassed badly in round two and was basically just hanging on as long as he could. McLellan ended up closing the show with a TKO via ground and pound late in the third round. 3) Neil Seery wins by submission +483 Neil Seery and Jon Delos Reyes was another great fight that saw each fighter have their fair share of moments. These two heavy-handed flyweights were throwing bombs from the outset, but it was Seery that was getting the better of most of the exchanges. Seery ultimately locked up a tight guillotine late in the second round that made the Guam native tap. 4) Louis Smolka wins by submission +360 Smolka and his counterpart, Paddy Holohan, found themselves placed in the main event as both the main and co-main event fell apart due to injuries. The duo put on a great fight that featured some fantastic grappling exchanges. Holohan got a few takedowns and took Smolka’s back a few times but Smolka managed to sneak out the back door. Smolka found himself back mounted in the second round but he was able to spin into Holohan’s guard, which was the deciding factor of the fight. Once on top Smolka unleashed relentless ground and pound before locking in a rear-naked choke that made the proud Irishman tap. 5) Tom Breese wins by technical knockout +295 Tom Breese absolutely brutalized Cathal Pendred in front of 10,000 of Pendred’s countrymen. His straight left hand constantly found the mark and it was not long before Pendred’s face was a bloody mess. After dishing out a beating for four minutes, Breeze landed two stiff left hands that put Pendred down for good. Breese, a bright young fighter out of the Tri-Star camp in Montreal, seems destined to have a long future inside the Octagon.
