If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. My Fights to AVOID betting for UFC Fight Night 76 in Dublin: Flyweight bout: Louis Smolka (-115) vs Paddy Holohan (-105) Gabe’s Thoughts: This fight is very tough for me to call; the toughest fight to get a feel for on the entire card, in my opinion. I have been going back and forth, and back and forth. The betting line could not be more spot on. Simply put, there is no value to be had on either side, so any wager here would would be nothing but an absolute gamble. Smolka is coming off a big unanimous decision win over Neil Seery at UFC 189 back in July and now enjoys a two fight winning streak heading into Saturday’s contest on enemy soil, where Holohah will have the crowd’s full support. The Irishman also rides a two fight winning streak and aims to extend it to three against the Hawaiian. I think this will be a closely contested bout and one that likely contends for the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors. I’ll be keeping this scrap out of my pocket, but I will be fully ready to enjoy this flyweight war. Gabe’s Call: Holohan by Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Women’s Strawweight bout: Aisling Daly (-130) vs Ericka Almeida (+110) Gabe’s Thoughts: At first I was considering playing Almeida, then I thought I was going to play Daly, but ultimately I think this is a fight I want to stay away from. There are too many question marks surrounding both fighters, so I cannot confidently back either of them. I think this is a fight best avoiding at the sportsbooks this weekend, especially considering there are many other bouts worth a wager. Gabe’s Call: Daly by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
