UFC Fight Night 75 Date: September 26, 2015 Arena: Saitama Super Arena City: Saitama, Japan The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Saitama, Japan for UFC Fight Night 75: Nelson vs Barnett. The 10-fight card will kick off with a preliminary card on FOX Sports 2 at 8pm ET and with the main card getting going at 10pm ET on FOX Sports 1. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my preliminary card parlay for UFC Fight Night 75: Welterweight bout: Keita Nakamura (+215) vs Li Jingliang (-255) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I expect Jingliang to close the distance and suffocate the promotional newcomer Nakamura with his wrestling and ground and pound. I could see him scoring a T/KO or securing a rear naked choke for the tap, but I’m favoring him to get the job done over 15 minutes for a unanimous decision win on the judges’ scorecards at Octagon-side. Gabe’s Call: “The Leech” by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Lightweight bout: Nick Hein (-270) vs Yusuke Kasuya (+230) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Hein is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 155-pound scrap and I see him getting the better of Kasuya over three rounds of action for a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. Kasuya is making his Octagon debut in this contest and is getting no favors, as Hein is a legitimate and under-rated lightweight. Kasuya will be game opponent for Hein, but I think the German will manage to get his hand raised. Octagon experience will certainly be an advantage for him, while Octagon jitters will likely be a factor for the Japanese newcomer Kasuya. Gabe’s Call: Hein by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Lightweight bout: Kajan Johnson (-260) vs Naoyuki Kotani (+220) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think this is a good spot for Johnson to make it two in a row inside the Octagon, while simultaneously sending Kotani packing from the promotion, as a defeat would mean three in a row for the Japanese veteran. I think Johnson could find success in keeping this fight on the feet and technically outpointing Kotani over the course of three rounds for a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think he could also find success in grinding Kotani up against the cage and using his wrestling to take him down and grind him out on the mat, possibly securing a rear naked choke for the submission finish in the process. I see this as a great stylistic match-up for Johnson and like his chances at getting his hand raised, as he has several routes to victory. I think he should be a -360 betting favorite here, so I like him at -260. Gabe’s Call: Johnson by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Jingliang (-255) with Hein (-270) and Johnson (-260) at +164 for 3.05u to win 5u
