Welterweight Chip Moraza-Pollard (10-8) is coming off the biggest win of his career against Dan Lauzon at CES 30 this past August. The win has earned Pollard a shot at the promotion’s vacant welterweight title against Gil de Freitas at CES 31 on October 30th. He discusses this matchup and much more on a “1 on 1” edition of “The Parting Shot Podcast.” “I feel like I get better as the fight goes on. So 5 rounds for me would work out well. They way both of us fight, I don’t think it’s going to be 5 rounds. I think it’s going to end in one of the earlier rounds. Obviously see I see myself coming out on top. I feel pretty confident.” He also talks about a variety of other topics including – How he got involved in MMA – Competing on Bellator’s Fight Master show – Being a big underdog against Dan Lauzon in his last fight – Where he got the nickname “Surgeon”
