Kamaru Usman wins by submission (+649)/Usman wins in round 2 (+750) In a welterweight bout, Kamaru Usman earned a second-round tapout win over Hayder Hassan in the finals of the TUF 21 Blackzilians vs. ATT tournament. Usman’s grappling looked awesome in this fight and he could be a player at 170lbs in the future. The prop on Usman winning by sub cashed at +649 and the prop on Usman winning in round 2 hit at +750. Michelle Waterson wins in round 3 (+900) In a women’s strawweight bout, Michelle Waterson earned an impressive third-round submission victory over an overmatched Angela Magana. Waterson had to overcome a tough first round but after that it was all smooth sailing for the former Invicta FC champ. The prop on Waterson winning in round 3 cashed at a nice +900. Maximo Blanco wins in round 1 (+650) In a featherweight contest, Maximo Blanco defeated Mike De La Torre via very controversial first-round TKO. Blanco rocked De La Torre with punches and for some reason referee Yves Lavigne decided to step in and stop the fight even thought De La Torre was shooting for a takedown when he was stopping it. Regardless, the prop on Blanco winning in round 1 cashed at +650. Jerrod Sanders wins by decision (+465) In a bantamweight bout, Jerrod Sanders earned a big upset win over Russell Doane, grinding his opponent out for three rounds for a decision win. Sanders had looked terrible in the UFC up until this point so to see him win so convincingly as an underdog was quite surprising. The prop on Sanders winning a decision hit at a robust +465. Josh Samman wins by submission (+1775) In middleweight action, Josh Samman submitted Caio Magalhaes with a first-round rear-naked choke to improve to 3-0 in the UFC. Samman looked great in this fight and is definitely someone to keep an eye on at 185lbs going forward. For some reason, the prop on Samman winning by submission was incredible undervalued at +1775.
