World Series of Fighting today announced that its second event will take place on March 23 in Atlantic City, NJ, and it’s been confirmed by Steph Daniels of BloodyElbow.com that the main event will feature former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski taking on Anthony “Rumble” Johnson in a heavyweight contest. Since being cut from the UFC after missing weight at UFC 142, Johnson is 4-0 including three T/KO wins, while Arlovski is 4-0 (1 No Contest) with three knockouts since being cut from Strikeforce. This is an excellent fight that should be very competitive, and of course MMAOddsbreaker.com will have the MMA betting odds for the fight before anyone else. As well, MMAjunkie.com confirmed that Tyson Nam vs. Marlon Moraes would also be featured on the card. The fight between two bantamweights on the rise is sure to be competitive, also, meaning this WSOF 2 card is shaping up to be very exciting, and the fact it’ll be shown for free on NBC Sports Network makes it a must-watch event. UFC 156 Salaries Released The complete list of salaries for all fighters on the UFC 156 card has been released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and co-main event fighter Rashad Evans made the most of anyone on the card: $300,000. Next was Alistair Overeem, who made $285,714.29, and UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, who made $240,000. The lowest-paid fighter? Chico Camus, who made $8,000. Pettis Wants Aldo Anthony Pettis wants to drop down to 145 pounds to fight Jose Aldo for the belt. That was according to UFC president Dana White, who said that Pettis texted him right after Aldo’s win over Frankie Edgar at UFC 156 asking for the bout. Pettis isn’t a big lightweight by any stretch so if he can cut down to 145 pounds safely, then the UFC will have to give serious consideration to booking Pettis vs. Aldo, despite the fact that Ricardo Lamas has been asking for a fight with Aldo himself.
