If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any other plays for this PPV fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are a pair of two-way parlays for UFC 187: Flyweight title bout: Joseph Benavidez (-700) vs John Moraga (+500) Gabe’s Thoughts: To put it simply, I don’t see how Moraga wins this fight, outside of a puncher’s chance. Aside from catching him clean and putting his lights out a la Demetrious Johnson, I don’t see another way Moraga gets it done. I think that outcome has a very slim chance of happening, but I will make a hedge with Moraga by T/KO at +1425. That said, I expect Benavidez to use his superior wrestling for three rounds of action here en route to picking up a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. A submission or T/KO would not be surprising, but I think Moraga will tough it out and last the full 15 minutes for the decision defeat. Gabe’s Call: Benavidez by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Middleweight bout: Urijah Hall (-400) vs Rafael Natal (+325) Gabe’s Thoughts: Hall is a different fighter now than he was when he first entered the UFC, especially since his move from Tiger Schulman’s in New York to Black House MMA in Los Angeles. He is an exceptional athlete and striker, and he continues to dominate his opponents. He is getting a step up in competition against Natal here, and I think it is a test he is prepared to pass. The Brazilian impressed in his latest outing by displaying improved striking skills and outpointing Tom Watson on the feet for three rounds of action to pick up a unanimous decision win on the judges’ scorecards. Hall is a step up for him as well following the Watson bout, and this is a fight that could prove to be quite entertaining, and likely one that won’t see it’s way to a judges’ decision. I think Hall’s accuracy and power will prove to be too much, and I think he eventually connects and puts the Brazilian away. I can see him getting it done with his hands or his kicks. Gabe’s Call: Hall by T/KO (head-kick, 2:01 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlays: 1) Benavidez (-700) and Hall (-400) at -234 for 3.5u to win 1.5u and 2) Benavidez/Moraga Over 2.5 rounds (-210) and Hall/Natal Under 2.5 rounds (-120) at +170 for 1u to win 1.7u
