If interested in wagering on this parlay, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s a set of parlays for UFC Fight Night 66 in the Philippines: Featherweight bout: Frankie Edgar (-450) vs Urijah Faber (+360) Gabe’s Thoughts: I’m pretty much in the same boat as everyone else in thinking that this is Edgar’s fight to win. It could end up being a competitive scrap, but it’s hard to see any other outcome than “The Answer” getting his hand raised. I think he keeps this fight on the feet and uses his superior boxing and footwork to outstrike Faber over the course of five rounds of action en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. Gabe’s Call: Edgar by Unanimous Decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) Middleweight bout: Costas Philippou (+450) vs Gegard Mousasi (-600) Gabe’s Thoughts: Mousasi is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 185-pound contest and I think he is better than Costa everywhere. I think he either takes him down and submits him or outstrikes him over 25-mintes to pick up a unanimous nod from the judges’ at Octagon-side. The only way Philippou could win this fight is if he lands a very lucky flush knockout blow, but considering how great Mousasi’s chin is, I don’t see that happening. Whatever’s Mousasi’s gameplan is heading into this bout, I believe he will find success with it and get his hand raised. Gabe’s Call: Mousasi by Submission (rear naked choke, 3:23 round 1) Featherweight bout: Levan Makashvili (-400) vs Mark Eddiva (+310) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I think Makashvili feels he has a lot to prove and I think he will do just that with either an impressive finish or a dominant unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. Gabe’s Call: Makashvili by T/KO (punches, 2:21 round 1) Flyweight bout: Jon Delos Reyes (-185) vs Roldan Sangcha-An (+160) Gabe’s Thoughts: To put it simply, I believe Delos Reyes is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 125-pound affair and I think he has the brighter future in the sport. I could see him either finishing Sangcha-An or taking it on the cards, but I am favoring the finish, considering how aggressive he fights. This is the first time he has been favored at the sportsbooks since his time with the UFC, and I believe he is going to come through for his backers. Sangcha-An will have the hometown advantage over the Guam native heading into this scrap, but I don’t think that will be nearly enough. (Unless the fight does in fact reach the judges’ scorecards, at which point anything is possible with the incompetent judges’ we have in the sport.) Gabe’s Call: Delos Reyes by T/KO (strikes, 1:01 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlays: 1) Edgar (-450), Mousasi (-600) and Makashvili (-400) at -128 for 4.55u to win 3.56u, 2) Edgar (-450), Mousasi (-600) and Delos Reyes (-185) at +119 for 4.55u to win 5.44u and 3) Edgar (-450), Mousasi (-600), Makashvili (-400) and Delos Reyes (-185) at +174 for 2.15u to win 3.75u
