My prop plays for Bellator 135 are: Bantamweight title bout: Joe Warren (-210) vs Marcos Galvao (+175) Warren by Decision (+110) .5u to win .7u While I can see Warren getting the finish in this rematch, especially in rounds four and five, I still favor him to get his hand raised on the judges’ scorecards, so at +110, I’ll put a little something on it. Lightweight bout: Hideo Tokoro (+265) vs L.C. Davis (-325) Davis by Decision (+120) .5u to win .6u Davis has made it no secret that he plans to stuff Tokoro’s takedowns in this bout and beat him up on the feet, and I think he will find success doing so. A finish wouldn’t be a surprise, but this is another contest where I favor the betting favorite to get the win on the judges’ scorecards. At +120, I think it’s worth a play, considering I think it’s dog money on what is the most likely outcome to a match-up on a guy who is -325 straight up. Light Heavyweight bout: Francis Carmont (-335) vs Guilherme Viana (+275) Not Carmont ITD (-135) 1.35u to win 1u Viana ITD (+410) .5u to win 2.05u I slightly favor Viana to win this fight, and should he get his hand raised, I like his chances of it coming by way of stoppage. A decision is possible, too, but considering how hard he hits and Carmont’s recent KO defeat, I am leaning towards a finish. Whether he does find Carmont’s chin or not, I don’t think the Frenchman will find Viana’s and his most likely route to victory is to outpoint Viana en route to a judges’ decision. Lightweight bout: Dakota Cochrane (+120) vs Ryan Couture (-140) Fight Goes Distance (+130) 1u to win 1.3u Cochrane by Decision (+359) .6u to win 2.15u To put it simply, I think this 155-pound match-up hits the judges’ scorecards for a decision more often than not, and assuming both fighters show up on top of their game, I think Cochrane gets his hand raised more often than not.
