UFC Fight Night 60 Date: 02/14/15 Arena: 1STBank Center City: Broomfield CO The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Colorado on Valentines Day with UFC Fight Night 60: Henderson vs Thatch. The event will feature an entirety of 11 fights, including a six-fight main card that will be live on FOX Sports 1 at 10pm. Preliminary action precedes it at 8pm on the same channel, with a lightweight bout coming before that on UFC Fight Pass at 7:30pm ET. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. My fights to AVOID betting for UFC Fight Night 60 in Colorado are: Flyweight bout: Chris Kelades (+425) vs Ray Borg (-550) Gabe’s Thoughts: Do I think Borg will win? Yes. Do I think Kelades can score another big upset? Yes. Do I think it’s worth gambling on? No. To wrap-up and conclude this short Q&A with myself, I think this fight is going to answer some questions about both Chris Kelades and Ray Borg and feel it is a dangerous one to wager on either way. Kelades does offer monster value at +425, and I did in fact consider him for one of the plays in my “live dogs” article, which I may end up skipping for this card, as it does not look like it will really be a night where the dogs start barking. Regardless of how long it lasts, I think this is going to be an entertaining 125-pound fight, so I think we’re best off staying away from it at the sportsbooks and allowing the fight fan in us to enjoy it fully. Gabe’s Call: Borg by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Lightweight bout: Efrain Escudero (-115) vs Rodrigo Lima (-105) Gabe’s Thoughts: I lean Escudero here to pick up the win, but I don’t feel comfortable putting my money behind him against the Brazilian who is set to make his UFC 155-pound debut. Escudero is a fighter who is well-rounded and presents threats in every department, but on the down-side he is a fighter who does not mentally (and sometimes physically) show up for every time. I have a feeling he will do well in this contest, but I can’t trust him right now, even more importantly I can’t recommend him for a wager. At -105, there absolutely is zero value in the Brazilian, in my opinion, so that means there is no reason to fade Escudero and we have to ultimately skip this one. Gabe’s Call: Escudero by Submission (rear naked choke, 2:34 round 2) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
