In one line, I will be providing my own personal description for every fight ahead of us at tomorrow’s UFC 183. I will also be following the Twitter rule of thumb of keeping them in 140 characters or less. UFC 183 is live tomorrow night (Jan. 31, 2015) with 12-scheduled bouts, including a five fight main card that will be live on Pay Per View at 10pm ET. And without further ado, here are my one –liners for UFC 183… MAIN CARD (PAY PER VIEW) Anderson Silva vs Nick Diaz This could be ‘Fight of the Night’ or a fight that leaves everybody scratching their heads. Kelvin Gastelum vs Tyron Woodley A co-main event everybody looked forward to until Gastelum stepped on the scale 10 pounds overweight. Al Iaquinta vs Joe Lauzon Both lightweights have a tough task ahead of them tomorrow night, and neither plan to allow the judges to have a say in the outcome. Thales Leites vs Tim Boetsch “The Barbarian” looks for another upset, while Leites looks for another win on his road towards a second shot at UFC gold. Thiago Alves vs Jordan Mein A pair of elite, fan favorite strikers go to war in a welterweight scrap that kicks off the Pay Per View card. PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX SPORTS 1) Miesha Tate vs Sara McMann Two former women’s 135-pound title challengers compete for another victory on their road to a second shot at Ronda Rousey and her crown. Derek Brunson vs Ed Herman Brunson and Herman have cooked up some beef, and they will look to settle it in dominant fashion tomorrow night. Ian McMcall vs John Lineker In another beef that will be settled inside the Octagon, Lineker coming in five pounds overweight added fuel to an already existing fire. Rafael Natal vs Tom Watson A scrap between a pair of veteran middleweights that is likely to leave the fans pleased, regardless of the outcome. Diego Brandao vs Jimy Hettes A featherweight contest that has the potential of being a real chess-match, should the fight find its way to the canvas. PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC FIGHT PASS) Ildemar Alcantara vs Richardson Moreira Even though I expect this 185-pound bout to end inside the distance, it is the one fight on the entire UFC 183 card I look forward to least. Andy Enz vs Thiago Santos A solid way to kick off the night, these 185-pounders will look to leave it all inside the Octagon in an effort to save their UFC contracts.
