UFC Fight Night 59 Date: January 18, 2015 Arena: TD Garden City: Boston, MA The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Boston tonight (Jan. 19, 2015) with UFC Fight Night 59 and will be featuring 12 bouts, including a four fight main card that will be live on FOX Sports 1 at 10pm ET, with a six fight preliminary card that will precede it on the same channel at 7pm ET, and a pair of scraps preceding that on UFC Fight Pass at 6pm ET. To place a wager on this prop, or any others for UFC 182, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. I believe these UFC Fight Night 59 ‘FOTN’ contenders hold the most value: Cerrone/Henderson +250 — The third fight in the trilogy between these lightweight veterans, and as the odds suggest, it is the favorite to take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors after all is said and done. I am inclined to agree, especially because it is the only fight on the main card I think is going to be a contender for the prize. Cerrone just fought two weeks ago, while Henderson has been out of action for nearly six months, so it is going to be interesting to see how they both look. Regardless of how long this fight lasts, I think it will be one that keeps us on the edge of our seats. Should these lightweights take home the bonus, it would be the ninth for Cerrone under the Zuffa banner, while being the fifth for Henderson. Even at the current betting price of +250, I think this is worth a wager. Perez/Case +1100 — This is a 155-pound match-up between a pair of young talented fighters who will both likely go on to have a future in the division. Perez is making his promotional debut stepping in for an injured Frank Trevino, while Case is 1-0 inside the Octagon and looking to make it 2-0 against the newcomer. I think this will be a very entertaining fight, and a competitive one that likely goes all three rounds for a judges’ decision, at which point it could be anybody’s fight. Should these two take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, it would obviously be the first time for both of them. At the huge underdog price of +1100, I think is worth a stab. Rosa/Soriano +650 — Next to the co-main event, I think this is the fight that is most likely to take home the award, and it is between two very talented up and comers In the UFC’s featherweight division. It’s American Top Team vs Blackzillian’s in this match-up, and both fighters are looking to bounce back into the win column following recent defeats. I expect this to be a very fun fight and one that likely goes the distance following three entertaining rounds of action Should these two earn the evening’s honors, it would mean the second time for Rosa, who took home the bonus in his unanimous decision loss to Denis Siver last year, a fight which he took on short notice. Being 0-2 inside the Octagon, it would be the first time Soriano takes home the prize.
