UFC on FOX 13 Date: December 13, 2014 Arena: US Airways Center City: Phoenix, AZ The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to FOX this Saturday (Dec. 13, 2014) with UFC on FOX 13: dos Santos vs Miocic. The action gets going live on FOX at 8pm ET, with preliminary scraps beginning at 5pm ET on FOX Sports 1 and 3:30pm ET on UFC Fight Pass before that. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my three-way Fight Pass parlay for UFC on FOX 13 in Phoenix: Lightweight bout: David Michaud (-220) vs Garrett Whiteley (+180) Gabe’s Thoughts: After losing a split decision to Li Jiangling in his promotional debut, Michaud heads south to the lightweight division, and I feel like he is getting a favorable match-up in his first fight at 155 pounds in the promotion. Simply put, I think Michaud is the superior mixed martial artist in this contest and expect him to get his hand raised, likely serving Whiteley his walking papers in the process. Gabe’s Call: David Michaud by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Bantamweight bout: Dustin Kimura (+230) vs Henry Cejudo (-270) Gabe’s Thoughts: After failing to make weight for his UFC debut, which was supposed to be at flyweight, they gave him the choice to step up to bantamweight or leave the promotion, and he went with 135 pounds. His weight-making issues are behind him, and I think he will give a lot of guys trouble in the bantamweight division. I see him using him superior wrestling to grind Kimura out over three rounds of action and pick up a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. Kimura is very talented off his back and is constantly threatening with both strikes and submissions. I think Cejudo’s submission defense will hold up, and again, I see him grinding this one out. Gabe’s Call: Henry Cejudo by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Bantamweight bout: Anthony Birchak (-240) vs Ian Entwistle (+200) Gabe’s Thoughts: To put it simply, I think Birchak has a future in the UFC’s bantamweight division and Entwistle does not. I believe Birchak to be the superior mixed martial artist here and I see him either finishing this fight or taking home a unanimous 30-27 nod from the judges. Out of everyone in this three-way parlay, I am most confident in Birchak, as I feel he is that much better than his opponent. Outside of getting caught with something, a la Al Iaquinta vs Mitch Clarke, he should have a walk in the park towards picking up his first UFC win. Gabe’s Call: Anthony Birchak by T/KO (strikes, 2:34 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Michaud (-220) parlayed with Cejudo (-270) and Birchak (-240) for +182 4.8u to win 8.75u
