MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 181 middleweight Ed Gordon as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout against Josh Samman this Saturday night (Dec. 6, 2014) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Ultimate Fighter season 19 winner felt he got away from what made him dangerous while competing on the show, and you’re just starting to see what he’s really capable of now that he’s back to fighting his own style:
“We want to be fast starters. I feel I want to go in there and do my best. I’m aggressive from start to finish. During the TUF show, I kind of got away from my style when you get different coaches and they want to implement their gameplan. I’ve been a football player my whole life so I’m very coachable but I kind of went back to my roots of being straight ahead, move forward, push the pace, jump on top of him and make him realize this is a different night he’s never been in before”
