UFC Fight Night 55 Date: November 7, 2014 Arena: Allphones Arena City: Sydney, Australia The Ultimate Fighting Championship is back in Australia this Friday night with UFC Fight Night 55, and the entire event will be live on UFC Fight Pass; with the main card kicking off at 10pm ET and preliminary action getting going at 7:30pm ET. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my two-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 55 in Australia: Light Heavyweight bout: Anthony Perosh (+160) vs Guto Inocente (-185) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Perosh has one foot out the door and Inocente will help him get the other foot there. He is dropping down to 205-pounds after being knocked out by Derrick Lewis at heavyweight. This is the division in which he belongs, and I see him proving that this weekend. I think he only loses this fight if he gets caught with something, and I think he can avoid Perosh’s submission game. I don’t think Perosh possesses much power in his hands, so I’m not worried about a knock out. I feel this is a make or break spot for Inocente, and if he fails to shine, he will likely receive his pink slip from the promotion. Both fighters are in dire need of a win in this match-up and I believe Inocente is the much more likely party to earn it. I think he has a decent chance of stopping Perosh, but if hits the judges’ scorecards, save for a hometown cooking, I see him taking the nod. I think Inocente should be a -230 favorite in this match-up, so at the current betting price of -185, I like him for the first leg of my two-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 55 in Australia. Gabe’s Call: Inocente by KO (punch, 1:08 round 1) Welterweight bout: Chris Clements (+120) vs Vik Grujic (-150) Gabe’s Thoughts: Clements is returning to action after a knockout loss at the hands of Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson at UFC 165 over a year ago. I think the extended layoff will be costly in this fight against Austalia’s own Grujic, who is hungry and motivated to pick up his second consecutive Octagon victory, following a first round TKO victory over Chris Indich four months ago. In this rare winner vs loser match-up, I think it will be Grujic who finds success in front of his hometown crowd. I could see him earning another TKO here but I think more likely than not he gets his hand raised via decision in this one, as I see it hitting the judges’ scorecards after three rounds of action. Clements was knocked out in his last fight and is coming off a layoff, so I definitely think Grujic can also finish him, especially in later rounds, if fatigue begins to set in due to time away from the cage. Clements could win this fight, but only if he has spent his entire time off improving, and I don’t believe that’s been the case. So at the current betting price of -150, I see just enough value in Grujic to include him as the second leg to my two-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 55, especially since I personally think he should be at least -180 here. Gabe’s Call: Grujic by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Inocente (-185) parlayed with Grujic (-150) for +156 3u to win 4.7u
