Five crazy prop bets is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here’s five crazy Bellator 128 bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers. Joe Warren wins by decision (+755) In the main event of Bellator 128, Joe Warren was able to outwrestle Eduardo Dantas en route to a decision win and unify the Bellator bantamweight titles in the process. This was arguably the best win of Warren’s MMA career and he did it as a huge underdog. No one thought Warren would win, so the props available on him were at big odds, including Warren wins by decision, which cashed at a massive +755. If you were bright enough to believe Warren would grind Dantas out for five rounds, congratulations, because those were some great odds. Joe Warren wins by unanimous decision (+1065) In addition to Warren winning by any decision, there was also a specific prop available on Warren winning by unanimous decision. That prop was available at +1065. I don’t know anyone who bet this, but if anyone took a stab at it, you have my respect because that was a great prop bet to cash big on. Michael Page wins by decision (+525) In the co-main event of the evening, Michael Page had his most disappointing performance so far in the Bellator cage as he outpointed Nah-Shon Burrell en route to a unanimous decision win. I say disappointing because everyone thought he would win by knockout and he just never really hurt Burrell badly in the fight, and never really came close to a finish in any manner. Because everyone thought Page would finish, the prop on him winning by decision was available at a huge number of +525. So congrats to anyone who bet this prop, because it was very juicy, especially in hindsight. NOT Michael Page wins inside the distance (+190) Because Page was so heavily favored to finish the fight, the prop on Page wins inside the distance was heavily juied. Conversely, the prop on Page NOT winning inside the distance was available at big odds, just because no one thought it would happen. The prop on Page doesn’t win inside of three rounds cashed at +190, so if anyone was smart enough to figure Burrell would last the entire 15 minutes, congratulations. Emiliano Sordi wins inside the distance (+190) In a middleweight bout, Emiliano Sordi defeated Bubba McDaniel in the first round by guillotine choke. McDaniel is an auto-fade these days but for some reason he was still the favorite heading into this fight, and because of that, Sordi’s backers got a good price on him and his props. The prop on Sordi wins inside the distance was +190, and it cashed in the first round when he finished McDaniel off in impressive fashion.
