Several Bookmakers has updated odds for this weekend in boxing, posting several lines that were not up earlier this week. The first event comes to us from Buenos Aires , Argentina on Friday night October 10th as Super Middleweights Jose Alberto Clavero (+1400) and Ezequiel Osvaldo Maderna (-3600) square off at Super Middleweight. Maderna just captured the WBC Latino title in the weight class in his last outing, and this match against the experienced (44-11-1) Clavero is a bit of a must win if he wants to gt the attention of the international scene. For Maderna, his two career losses have come in fights overseas, but for this one he returns for some home cooking, and the line shows it. Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions head to Indio, California on Friday the 10th as well, where they are featuring undefeated Antonio Orozco (20-0) at Light Welterweight as he takes on well traveled Steve Forbes (35-13) in a scheduled 10 rounder. Forbes, a former IBF Champion at Super Featherweight has managed just a 3-9 record since 2007, so it is safe to say that his best days are behind him. Forbes comes back at (+650) with Orozco heavily favored at (-1350). On Saturday night, October 11th in Quintana Roo, Mexico, Light Middleweight IBF World Champion Carlos Molina is favored (-380) to dfend his belt against former titleholder Cornelius Bundrage, who returns at (+315). Molina is a solid, hard working champion, and Bundrage’s best days are behind him at 40 years old. Bundrage is also hitting the road and traveling to Mexico. Though Molina is based out of Illinois, the defense in Mexico is right up his alley, while for Bundrage, this is his first fight in Mexico despite a long career nearing 40 fights. The 5DIMES site has also had odds for quite some time on the O2 Arena event scheduled for this Saturday featuring Heavyweight prospect Anthony Joshua. Be sure to look back frequently, as there is a good chance additional odds will be posted for this weekend after weigh ins.
