If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my preliminary card parlay for UFC Fight Night 53 in Sweden: Middleweight bout: Krzysztof Jotko (+105) vs Tor Troeng (-125) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Jotko is the superior mixed martial artist between these two 185-pounders, thus I feel he will be able to do enough to win a convincing decision here in this match-up against Troeng, if not score a finish. I could see him ending the fight via T/KO or submission, but I think more often than not, he gets his hand raised via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards. I think there is a lot of value in Jotko at the current betting line of +105, as I personally think he should be a -230 favorite heading into this middleweight scrap. Of course, it is possible that I could be off, as it is a possibility that Troeng could get takedowns and get top position long enough to win rounds, but I am really counting on Jotko’s takedown defense to hold up against Troeng, and for him to be able to take superior position, should the should hit the canvas. Gabe’s Call: Jotko by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight bout: Cathal Pendred (-140) vs Gasan Umalatov (+120) Gabe’s Thoughts: I agree that Pendred is the rightful favorite heading into this match-up. However, I don’t agree with the current betting line of -140, as I think he should be a -220 favorite over Umalatov. Pendred will be making his debut in the UFC’s welterweight division, after scoring an impressive come from behind second round rear naked choke submission victory over Mike King as a middleweight. He is now back at home at 170-pounds, the weight class he had been competing in before going on The Ultimate Fighter as a 185-pounder. I think in this fight, the Irishman is going to manage to get the better of the Russian everywhere the fight goes, but I see it playing out on the feet. I think Pendred’s chances of getting the finish are slim, however I do favor him to pick up a comfortable unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards, ultimately sending Umalatov back to the drawing board. Gabe’s Call: Pendred by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Jotko (+105) parlayed with Pendred (-140) for +251 4.9u to win 12.32u
