UFC Fight Night 45 Date: July 16, 2014 Arena: Revel Casino Hotel City: Atlantic City, NJ UFC Fight Night 45 will be live today from Atlantic City with an 11-fight card, including a six-fight main card that will kick off at 9:00 pm ET on FOX Sports 1, with preliminary action getting going at 6:30 pm ET on UFC Fight Pass. There are many very interesting proposition bets for the event. To place a wager on props, or anything for this fight card, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. My prop plays The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale are: Lightweight bout: Donald Cerrone (-240) vs Jim Miller (+220) Fight Won’t Start Round Two (+243) 1u to win 2.43u Fight Won’t Start Round Three (+117) 1u to win 1.17u I feel like this fight is not going to last very long, and that is mostly a gut feeling; although on paper, it appears that way, too. For a full write-up on this five round main event, I refer you to my fight article for the bout. Flyweight bout: John Lineker (-265) vs Alpetkin Ozkilic (+245) Lineker -3.5 (-120) 1.2u to win 1u I favor Lineker to earn a T/KO stoppage in this bout, though it may come hard-earned. Should he fail to secure the finish, I think there is a decent chance he manages to keep this fight on the feet for 15 minutes of action, where he holds a significant advantage in striking over the Turk. For a full write-up on this flyweight affair, check out my fight article for the scrap. Women’s Bantamweight bout: Jessamyn Duke (+120) vs Leslie Smith (-130) Smith by Decision (+155) 1u to win 1.55u I favor this fight to hit the judges’ scorecards, and I favor Smith to take the nod there. She is undersized in this bout, though I think she holds an advantage in physical power. I think she will move forward and outpoint Duke for a close decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. Lightweight bout: Jerrod Sanders (-150) vs Yosdenis Cedeno (+140) Cedeno by T/KO (+605) .4u to win 2.42u This is purely a value play, as I think Cedeno’s chances of finishing this fight via strikes are much greater than the odds indicate. Women’s Strawweight bout: Claudia Gadelha (-485) vs Tina Lahdemaki (+425) Gadelha by T/KO (+425) 1u to win 4.25u Gadelha -3.5 (-260) 2.6u to win 1u I expect this fight to be all Claudia Gadelha. Simply put, I think she is going to run through Lahdemaki, and possibly stop her. Lahdemaki is not exactly a scrub, but she is taking a major step up in competition here and I think she is going to be outclassed. The Nova Uniao-trained Brazilian will be getting her hand raised today, becoming the first female strawweight to notch a victory inside the Octagon.
