With UFC Fight Night 41 and The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale taking place this past weekend, the MMAOddsBreaker rankings were bound to get shook up. MMA Oddsbreaker’s Brian Hemminger (@BrianHemminger) and Jason Nawara (@JasonNawara) have taken over the reigns of the rankings, which are updated after every UFC event. As always, we only show changes in the rankings with this update. To access the full MMAOddsBreaker rankings, click here. Disagree? MMAOddsBreaker Rankings Update (CMigrator copy 3)
1. Chris Weidman 2. Lyoto Machida 3. Vitor Belfort 4. Anderson Silva 5. Jacare Souza 6. Luke Rockhold 7. Gegard Mousasi (+3) 8. Yoel Romero (-1) 9. Tim Kennedy (-1) 10. Michael Bisping (-1) 11. Costa Philippou (+1) 12. Yushin Okami (+1) 13. Mark Munoz (-2) 14. CB Dollaway (NR) 15. Thales Leites
The biggest shake-up was in the middleweight division, as CB Dollaway knocked Francis Carmont out of our top 15 rankings after a strong showing in Berlin against the imposing French fighter. Gegard Mousasi also takes a huge leap after scoring his first victory in the UFC middleweight division with an absolutely dominant showcase against Mark Munoz in the UFC Fight Night 41 main event. 1. Johny Hendricks 2. Robbie Lawler 3. Tyron Woodley 4. Matt Brown 5. Carlos Condit 6. Rory MacDonald 7. Ben Askren (+1) 8. Dong Hyun Kim (-1) 9. Hector Lombard 10. Tarec Saffiedine 11. Jake Shields 12. Demian Maia (+1) 13. Jake Ellenberger (-1) 14. Douglas Lima 15. Rousimar Palhares
Nothing huge, but we bumped Demian Maia up a notch for his dominating victory over UFC newcomer Alexander Yakovlev on The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale, he looked much better than Jake Ellenberger did in his last fight (granted against a much weaker opponent). Ben Askren looked very impressive as well in his One FC debut, scoring his third straight finish and proving the haters wrong once again. 1. TJ Dillashaw 2. Renan Barao 3. Rafael Assuncao 4. Urijah Faber 5. Michael McDonald 6. Marlon Moraes 7. Takeya Mizugaki 8. Eduardo Dantas 9. Johnny Eduardo 10. Bibiano Fernandes 11. Iuri Alcantara (+1) 12. Eddie Wineland (-1) 13. Francisco Rivera 14. Alex Caceres 15. Erik Perez
Again, no major shifts here, but Iuri Alcantara deserves to be rewarded for absolutely blistering the new-and-improved Vaughan Lee in Berlin.
