MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 120 light heavyweight Tito Ortiz as he prepares for his main card bout this Saturday night (May 17, 2014) against Alexander Shlemenko at the Landers Center in South Haven, Mississippi.
The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion knows he has a tough challenge ahead of him, but he’s still not quite sure why Shlemenko called him out in the first place:
“[Alexander Shlemenko] wants to fight me? Let’s fight. I don’t know. He wants to be famous? I’ll make him famous for 15 minutes if it lasts that long. I’m just excited. I’m excited to compete. I’ve always competed against the top guys in the world and he’s the Bellator middleweight champion and it’s not gonna be an easy fight. No fight’s easy. I like the challenge. I trained really hard and I’m ready to compete, man.”
