MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 115 middleweight Dan Cramer as he prepares for his tournament bout on Friday night (April 4, 2014) against Jeremy Kimball at the Reno Events Center in Reno, Nevada.
The American Top Team fighter knows he’s just two fights away from a middleweight title shot against current champion Alexander Shlemenko and he feels his skills can match him up favorably against any fighter on the promotion’s roster on any given day:
“I think on any given day I can beat anybody in my weight class. The great thing about Bellator is they have the tournament format so if I win this fight then I’m in the finals and if I win that fight, I fight for the belt. It’s good because it takes away that decision-making and rankings of ‘who beat who.’ You’ve got to win your next two fights and you get a title shot. It’s very touch and dry.”
