MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with LFC 27 flyweight Henry Cejudo as he prepares for his co-main event bout tonight (January 31, 2014) against Elias Garcia at Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas.
The former Olympic gold medalist wrestler got into MMA at a young age, and he has a unique take on the pressure that comes with seeking greatness:
“If anything, I strive for pressure. I embrace it. I’m never one of these guys that shies away from it. I believe I’m somebody special and I believe that comes with the territory. I’ve wrestled in the middle of Times Square. I’ve wrestled in Iran. I’ve wrestled in Cuba. I’ve competed in the Olympics, the World Championships, this isn’t new to me. I’m a veteran in some way.”
